Hooray the mistress finally went out today. Not knowing how long she would be we are very limited as to what we can do while we wait for the garage door to go up on her return. So, we sat around talking about the information in the psychology books that we can't understand about humans.

I knew there was a dictionary somewhere, so I went looking and found it in the spare room. But it is huge and very hard to carry. I needed an army of helpers to carry it to the lounge floor. 

 

Look at the size of this thing.

We spent a lot of time looking up words and their meaning. It is going to take a long time to sort these words as I am teaching the other fellas and myself. 

OMG, we heard the garage door go up and everyone scarpered leaving me to put the book back. How was I going to do this on my own. So much for friends. I obviously can't rely on them. I am still on the floor with this huge book when the mistress walks in. I thought she would be angry with me, but she is full of surprises. She announced that it could stay on the floor while we learn, but only for a few days. Arrrhh she must be after something. "Thank you, mistress, you are so kind."       

I reckon she is keen for us to learn about this psychological stuff humans are made of. My guess is that because we live together this could make our lives so much easier when we can understand them. You see there is a method to her madness.

So tonight, we shall get into this book again, and work through a list of words that are very complicated. Whoever designed these psychology books should have chosen much easier words for us to comprehend. Hmmm, maybe I could write a book for us Gnomes to understand. I shall sleep on it.
