All was peaceful last night with our usual routine until a dear friend of the mistress rang in distress and could she come over immediately. She was gone in a flash and never came home all night. It was very kind of her to leave the heat pump and the lights on for us. She either forgot or didn't plan on staying out all night. So, we got to, with this huge dictionary. We made good progress too, despite not knowing how to spell or even how to say the word. As usual, the garage door went up and they all scarpered and left me to it. The mistress was ok though and left me to keep studying this book.

She had some breakfast then I saw her fill a bag thing with hot water and take it to bed. Now this is new for my mistress. She must have been cold. She did tell me there was a big frost outside. 

So now her fella is here for a few days. I think he is feeling a draught around his ears. He seems to have been shawn since we saw him last. I wonder what these two will be up to this week. We need more time with this dictionary.

Sometimes it takes losing yourself to find yourself.
