Now this fella here had to go and hang his own washing out today. That mistress isn't going to run after him she politely informed him. She announced that start as you mean to go on, so it looks like she wears the pants around here. He does his own washing at his place, so there's no point in changing now.

This couple went out this afternoon, so we got cracking again on this dictionary business. We have had enough of that stupid wheelbarrow fella, so he wasn't allowed to join us. I chose a selected few today where we could have a sensible conversation. 

 

We had a nice quiet time discussing these humans here until they came home. We heard a word this morning they used..."stuffy". What on earth does this mean? The mistress opened up the front door for some fresh air and sunshine. Now this book says, ventilation, musty. Oh heck, so what do these two words mean. This is such a long process for a mere gnome. Having to look up 2 more words is so time-consuming; we will never get to the end. 

That mistress has just announced that it took her a lifetime to learn and that some words in this book she has never heard of. She says everyone is on a learning journey in this life right up until we die. Huh......I'm not going in the ground like her mother. Gnomes live forever because we have to look after the planet. After all, these humans are not doing a very good job. 

I know the Mistress recycles most things. There is a bag beside where I sit and sometimes it is very full. Then I see her take it out to a bin. I hope it's the yellow one. This morning I saw her take the green waste out to the green bin. 

Us Gnomes are very careful with our planet and the fellas outside see all sorts of things. They have been known to climb the fences here, quite frequently as they can't get past the Policeman gnome at the gate. I shan't be reporting their findings here either because this is gnome business only.
