Mmm, she announces some sunshine today. Ollie is ready and waiting for his walk. They were out longer than usual because they went a different route and Ollie loved it so much, he pulled even harder on the lead. They met some other dogs to chat with and were very friendly. On arriving home, he flops on the floor recovering when a lad called in to take him for another walk. Great excitement and again a huge flop on the floor, puffing and panting, but a very happy-looking Ollie on returning home.
Now I must tell you about my findings from last night. She read for ages, and I had to wait and wait. Anyway, there is a huge photo of the Author on the front cover, I had to move her glasses very carefully because I didn't want to wake her up. His name is Kelvin Cruickshank, then she moved, and I had to take off very quickly. I know she enjoys his books because I have seen others at home.
This afternoon I wanted to stay in the car and read my books, while the mistress went and visited the previous house sit people. She caught up with Milo too, and he was happy to see my mistress. They all had a cupper together and a good old natter, and a laugh or two.
The mistress decided afterward to zoom off to Napier. She so loves this place and I do too, especially if it makes my mistress happy. We sat at the waterfront for a while then went off to her favorite place for dinner. Cafe Anatolia. It is a Turkish restaurant.
Later we went back to church. Everyone gave us a warm welcome as usual and others met for the first time. Several were very keen to look up this blog. It was a fantastic night and very different and will report back to her Christchurch, church.
We have promised to see them all again.
Home to Ollie as his tummy was requiring his dinner. It went down so fast, so must have been hungry. It was 9pm after all.
Now he has sprawled out all over the floor satisfied with his day.
