Waihi
2/3/23
The mistress was up early today as it was a rubbish day and she needed to pack the car. She was a busy little beaver.
Now I watched Millie this morning, instead of helping the mistress. Was so funny, because she came in for breakfast and then took off when the mistress went to give her the medication. She ran into the garage cat door, and this meant she would have to get the key. Ahh, but the mistress was one step ahead of this cat. She waited a while in case Millie got under the car. She knew that eventually, she would be in her sunny position on the garage bench in the sun, and sure enough success. That cat I am sure laughed at her.
The mistress told me she had told Millie that her Mum and Dad would be home today, and she gave a small meow in agreement. What next? I will stick to my books, I think.
So eventually the car was loaded and the house nice and clean, and goodbye to Millie, and the neighbors. They are very kind and friendly people and are now following us on this blog. So, a big toot and wave and we're off.
The mistress decided that she wanted to see Waihi beach and have lunch and explore. Huh she left me in the car to people-watch as she wanted some peace and quiet. Likewise, I say. Now she was gone for hours, and hours. I nearly sent out a search party. She informs me that lunch, a satay pizza was delicious. Now she wouldn't say anymore. When I probed for more info, I was told the usual.....MYOBB.
Now I didn't see any shopping enter the car, So, what on earth was she doing? Hmmmm just talking to people she said. It Must have been something of real interest. Yes, it was, and wouldn't say anything more.
It was time to find our accommodation for the next few days.
Very nice she says. It's a tiny home, all on one level. Thank goodness as I can't see the mistress climbing up to her bed. 😂😂😂
Now tomorrow I have a feeling we might be going to Whangamata. It appears the sun will shine, and the mistress wants to make the most of the weather. The cyclone brewing named after her seems to be unwelcome in NZ and got the message and going in another direction. But there is a fella chasing her called Kevin and he is following her my not my mistress Judy. Jeepers. We don't need any blokes this way thank you. Gosh, I have got nice manners too.....sometimes.
Safe travels you 2 . Noeline
