The Mistress announces that it is one year since we arrived from our big North Island holiday, which included touring and house sitting. We also caught up with family and made friends with our homeowners, who trusted us to look after their furry friends and sometimes walk the dog. We enjoyed these experiences and are looking forward to doing some more, and maybe farm sits too, as His Lordship has these skills. 

I'd like to know if we can go to the Hot Air Ballooning again. The Mistress eventually enjoyed this experience. I would like another crack at getting on the tour of our parliament buildings. Last time, I was not allowed this experience and had to stay in the Mistress's bag in a particular room. This was hardly good enough, and boy, I told her too. It was the rules, she says. But I am a Gnome and harmless. She said I could have had a gun or camera hidden on me and this is not allowed. 

I also recall getting an article on stuff news. TV 1 breakfast show and Suzuki Cars wanted us to pose for photos for their magazines. A local paper in Tauranga put an article in their paper, too, and Season magazine also printed an article. 

Now look what has happened since we came home. We have become Authors, and 2 more books will soon be published. The Mistress met her Prince Charming. Now we are selling up and going to live on the road all over NZ in a flash caravan, and another article in the newspaper recently.

To top this off tonight, we have had over 22,200 hits on this blog. Who would have thought this would happen?

We only need a producer to contact us and make a movie! Now, this is the icing on the cake.

Jeepers, this has been a fantastic ride these past couple of years. The Mistress says life is moving very fast, and we need to get cracking and get on the road, but hang on, there is a house to sell. 

The Mistress always says it is not about being famous; it is about touching people's lives and giving them a laugh.
