A Gnomes life is a strange one at times, especially around here. The mistress comes and goes like the wind and rain. One is never quite sure whether she is coming or going. So, my fellow friends and I sometimes have a fair bit to say amongst ourselves. I shall not be discussing our topics of conversation here; in incase, that mistress has something to say. What she doesn't know won't hurt her. 

So, her fella arrived yesterday, amongst the rain and flooding. They took off later. His Grandson had a birthday, so McD's was on the menu for dinner at his request. 

Arriving home was another blast of coming and going. The mistress dropped her fella off and then, went out again. He made himself comfy and then, went to sleep in the lazy boy, chair. I heard a bit of a snore too. Gosh, don't tell him this as who knows what he is capable of.

Now with all this rain, we have had the mistress had to empty some water out of the pool as some guys were floating. At least they weren't ice skating this time. 

Crickey this mistress had her fella assisting her on that small ladder again. She wanted to save some money and clean the air filters on the heat pump. Once they finally figured out how to open it and take them out to clean and couldn't believe how black the water was. 

The sun is now shining again, and all is well. Music is on and this fella just fixed the radio as the mistress couldn't get it to go, and only C/ds. She has the cheek to say he has to earn his keep around here.

You fall, you rise,

you make mistakes, you live, you learn.

Think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive--

To breathe, to think,' to enjoy,

and to chase the things you love.

Sometimes there is sadness in our journey, 

but there is always lots of beauty.

We must keep putting one foot in front of the other,

even when we hurt, for we will never know what, 

is waiting for us just around the bend.
