2/2/23

Wellington

Gee, I am so proud of the mistress. She drove us here, just cruising along and she handled the Transmission Gully superbly. A great road she says.

Finding our house sit was a challenge but having the GPS was a very handy tool to have. Now that mistress has a habit of being in the right place at the right time. She asked someone what the building was in front of us.....note she's not shy. Turns out it was Te Papa. Great news she says. We will shift the car and park in their car park.

Packing me in her bag we set off to see this place. It's huge she says and 5 stories high. The old mistress needed a sit down from time to time, but I couldn't growl because I am getting to see all these amazing places. She announces it's called caring for herself, and me the little bloke. The cheek of her when she said that. I may be little, but I do care really, but don't tell her that. It could go to her head and there isn't much room left now.!

She took me sightseeing around Oriental Bay afterward. A beautiful sunny day here.

Needing a loo, and something to eat she drove into a B.P. she got petrol to, but there was a bit of nervous thinking going on, as there were about 25 bike gang people sitting on the ground having a rest.
They seemed a happy lot and not causing any problems, so she decided to stay and complete all tasks.
It was time to put the GPS back on and go to our next house sit.
Meeting and greeting the humans and they're very happy we dog Molly. That mistress was very smitten with this happy and very excited lady.
