Whakatane
The mistress seems to like this place. She brought me here on Tuesday for the day and also went to Opotiki. She didn't enjoy that strange township. Had bad energy she says. What's she talking about? The place was very run down, and she didn't even enjoy her fish and chip lunch. Oh well you can't please all people you know, so off back to Whakatane where it has better energy and vibrations.
So, another day of posing for the camera, I'm quite a handsome fella you know. Hehehehe
The sea gets extremely rough at times and as we left today the water was very rough. I'll just stay in our Suzuki, I think. Tis nice and warm in there.
The mistress wanted to have a Thai meal before we left town, me too please. I used my manners cos I wanted to see inside this place and not sit in the car. There is a nice garden to look out on and she really did enjoy the colors.
Look at me, she said I'm on the water and she was having a light beer. Now check out that meal. That white stuff had a face on it. Two peas for eyes and red onion for the mouth, what next, how crazy is this. She said that they dress the plates to give them some pizazz. I don't know this only gets eaten. I'll just watch her eat it and see if she smiles like this face.!! She did and said "oh yumm".
We got to have a happy mistress you know.!
So back off to our last night in Welcome Bay. Shes going to miss that dog and cat. They are just delightful and full of love she says, oh yuk that love stuff again. Those kind people gave her another gnome.
Gosh there's about 8 in the car now. Shes going to call this one Johnathon, the boy who gave it to her. It's very special she says because they brought it all the way from America.
The next day Wed, we packed up and moved to another house sit which was 1 suburb over. Called Ohauiti. Thats a real strange word, don't tell her but she had to look up the spelling!
This place has 2 cats, Bindi who we don't see much and Ziggy who spends a lot of time on the mistress's knee. Look at the love she says...oh what rot.
Its rained and rained the past few days and she's hoping tomorrow will be fine because she's taking me to meet some people in Paeroa and Wahi. She says if it's raining then the festival in Waihi will be cancelled and she is not at all amused about this as she was looking forward to mingling with the locals. Anyway, we will meet some people that we are looking after their house and pets in February.
I like the rice star😊
