Paeroa / Waihi
Look at me. Can you find me is more to the point.
That mistress makes me stand out in the pouring rain on Saturday.
I felt like a real twit. She said that because I don't wash or shower then the rain would do the job. Huh, tis not fair, and a tough life being a gnome.
A nice young chap served us with a broken Wrist. It appears he makes it a habit of breaking bones. He is now working on 1 leg left to break, as all the other limbs have been broken over recent years. Gosh I hope he doesn't have a go at mine!
The mistress looks rather happy here. We make a nice couple aye!
We went down the street and she found her favourite shop. She said I had to wait in the car. Boy she was ages and ages in there. The shop name, Earth Angel Magic. Alicia kept her in there she says. I doubt that somehow!
She finally came out to the car without buying anything, or so I thought. Finally, she admitted that she did, but because we are coming back here to house sit in February the lady is looking after her shopping until then. More Gnomes she said, and other pretty and cute things that I won't see as she is packing them in a box and will see when we get back to Christchurch. Gee that is a long time to wait. I don't like waiting I said, and do you know what she said...."tough". Hmmmmm
The mistress was pretty fed up with all the rain. It wasn't cold just wet.
We headed off to Waihi and have a look around and said that she needed a cuppa before we headed back to Tauranga.
She really enjoyed this lamington in Waihi, and I told her "What passes the lips stays on the hips". hee-hee😅
Boy she's really upset with this rain. I watched those window wipers going flat tack. She tells me they were going full bore and couldn't go any faster, so she slowed our car down so she could see.
Gee the car would be really clean today, I said, and she agreed.
