A great day for a Boat ride
Oh, my goodness I hope she doesn't drop me as I can't swim. I don't have my togs. I'm terrified and she's not listening. Where's the life raft around here. HELP HELP.
We jumped on the boat and sat down to calm my nerves. I needed a beer, and she wouldn't get me one. The mistress said get over it as you're ok and to stop moaning. That girl of hers she's a cheeky thing and I am keeping an eye on her because she gets up to all sorts of mischief.
Now this boat which is run by Kewpie Cruises first sailed in 1953. Gosh that was a long time ago. 70 Years this year. We went past some interesting islands, lots of boats all shapes and sizes. And 2 huge, big cruise ships. One of them was being loaded with fuel from a little boat.
Do you know that mistress took me up to meet the Skipper. I couldn't believe my eyes as this was a female. Her name was Amy and she is
training her brother to be a skipper. Gosh 2 in the family. She was pretty too, and her helper was so cute. She asked lots of questions about the mistress's collection back home in Christchurch.
That girl HELP HELP I can't swim. That water is too close for comfort, and I want to sit down and she's not listening to me. I wish I stayed at home. All this stress isn't good for a gnome.
The family took the mistress back to their place for a BBQ lunch of bacon and egg croissants. She enjoyed them at Xmas and time was running out for our time here in Tauranga and worried she wouldn't be able to enjoy them again. She doesn't need a BBQ at home for 1 person.
At least the mistress and everyone else enjoyed the ride. Me, well I'm still shaking and its 8pm, many hours later.
I love your photos and stories. Great adventures! ❤️🙏🏼💐
