Another bleak day of weather here today. The mistress is sick of the cold these days and says roll on spring.

Last night my mates all gathered around for another session with the ping pong balls. We are still trying to catch the new bloke, but he didn't want to play. He said he had a headache!! I bet he has something stashed under that hat that is heavy and no wonder he has a headache.

The mistress took me out to Darfield for lunch with the Relies. They have an almost 4-year-old and jeepers, she never stops running. She keeps her parents on their toes with her demands and heck you want to hear all the noise she makes.

She liked playing ball with her dad but when things didn't go right jeepers, she screamed. I reckon her neighbors would have heard. Even the cats know better now and hide from her. I don't blame them at all. They are very wise if you ask me. I wasn't allowed to hide, because my mistress wanted me to see her and all her antics. 

On the way home we called into her friend's place around the corner, as the mistress wanted to check up on them, as sometimes they are not at all well. I hear that the fella there makes a good cup of tea and likes giving his little dog a piece of his biscuit. He sure gets into trouble for this though.

Love is what we are born with.

Fear is what we have learned here.

The spiritual journey is unlearning fear,

and the acceptance of love back

into our hearts.
