Happy Easter says, Ollie.

Now I reckon that dog wanted my easter egg, get away it's MINE and you're not having it. The mistress says chocolate is bad for dogs and she hopes that nobody gives them easter eggs. It can upset their tummies. Oh heck, we don't want any messes around here. 

The mistress took me to church today to meet all her friends we met a couple of weeks ago. A kind lady gave me my own easter egg and I had a chair to sit on by myself.

This afternoon the dog Ollie took the mistress out for a walk in the sunshine. Jeepers he is a strong dog for my mistress, but she manages. Good exercise for her I say. At least I have some peace and quiet which gives me some reading time to catch up on all these new things I am learning. Near home, the Mum of the family who are away stopped to talk to the mistress with her grandchildren who live here. Ollie was delighted to see them. They are great mates. Easter bunny called in at their house too. 

Ollie missed those kids when they left. He went to their rooms to find them. Poor Ollie. I saw the mistress give him extra special pats, but no chocolate though. I might eat mine when the mistress goes out later.

She took me out with her in the dark and zoomed off to the Napier church. A great bunch they are. 2 young ladies greeted me with a chocolate all for me. Gosh, I am a lucky fella today. The mistress reckons I will be the only Gnome to ever receive an easter egg or two, hey that's 3 today. 

These Napier ladies wanted me up the front looking at everyone.

Humans are an interesting species. I could see all sorts of things going on down in the congregation, but I am not about to tell you because this is Gnome's business only. I heard a lady later tell the mistress that we are going to be in the next newsletter they put out. Jeepers really. That is special the mistress announces.
