 The Mistress has a birthday today. Breakfast in bed was requested and carried out. He's a treasure she says. Tea and toast are her normal and today was no different to any other. His Lordship says no crumbs in the bed though. As he is on bed-making duty due to the Achillies heel issue it was suggested that he was to deal with it. 

They went out this afternoon and were quite late back. Us Gnomes had a great time outside around the pool while they were out. The sun was shining, and all sorts of hijinks were going on and I was not about to spill the beans on my mates. 

There are a couple of fellas trying to catch a fish, but he can't cast out properly. He is not known to listen to instructions as he has a mind of his own. There is not a lot of water in the pool and diving in soon taught them that they had to be careful in shallow water. It needs a clean out too, but the Mistress isn't up to this at all, so it will have to wait. 

She was wearing a very pretty dress today. Don't tell her I said this though. I like to keep my opinions to myself. Her phone was very busy this morning. Lots of friends and family sending birthday wishes. I believe her next birthday will be a Biggy and she doesn't like the number this will be.

His Lordship shouted her a meal tonight as no cooking was happening here. As always, she is grateful.
