We have the house to ourselves again, the mistress and me. Her fella went back home today. You see it's his golfing day and never take a man away from his sport. I reckon playing with those ladders yesterday is a sport!

We gathered this morning when the mistress went out and as usual, we never know when she will return, so we had a lesson on human behavior because these mates of mine just do not understand them at all. Trixie tries her best to help me out, but sometimes they will not listen to her. Poor lady, I do feel sorry for her at times, because you see I do care about her. 

Oh, heck the garage door was going up and we had to race back to our positions mighty fast. At least we didn't get into the alcohol today. We will save it for when we know she is away for a couple of days. Who knows she may never go away again, as she may not trust us. Come to think of it, I might not trust us either, especially after the last time. We really didn't enjoy her growling at us. We have to keep on the right side of her I reckon as we may never find any alcohol again. Now this could well ruin a Gnomes world forever.  She came home with her haircut. Goodness gracious, it does look very nice. I heard her moaning about it several times as it was getting very untidy. Trixie just loves it and keeps going on about it, so I just nod my head. 😂

Thought for the day

You spent a lifetime caring for others.

Always looking out for everyone outside yourself.

And look.....that's a beautiful thing.

You should still do that.

But this time you recognize the importance of not 

overlooking yourself first.

Your cup is just a cup if it isn't overflowing.

You have to spoil yourself.

Not just financially.

But the peace of mind that comes with not 

beating anyone else's stress and needs.

A stable you is beneficial to anyone.

A thriving you is essential in this 

path of liberation and prosperity.
