The mistress announces that it's a great day to write stories for children today. Right then I have to keep an eye on where she stores the books that she is writing in. She is so quick at times, and I am engrossed in reading my own books. 

I can see there is some rain outside and no wonder she is staying dry and warm. 

Gosh, she says it's lunchtime already. Oh, how time flies when you're having fun.  

Last night I wandered into the bathroom to see that new fella that lights up. His light was out when I got there. I thought it was meant to stay on all night. This is no good at all for us.  

The fella in the barrel rolled in so we had a yack amongst ourselves and the guy still nude on the toilet. He must have a stomach problem because he never gets off the toilet. No wonder the other fella is still wearing a mask. 😂😂😂    

After a lot more writing from the mistress and another illustrator contacted it was time for the mistress to go out. She looked pretty swish from what I could see as she flew past me to get her coat. She said there would be heaps of traffic and would leave early.    

Great she was out the door and had time to go looking for these stories. We hunt and hunt. There are so many books beside her chair and on her table that it takes ages. The 2 chaps on the see-saw cause havoc and they get in our road all the time. We reckon they know where these stories are, and they will not tell us. Hey, the garage door is going up. Everyone scrambles back to their places.   

Ok, tonight we will get more troops to assist us when the mistress goes to sleep.  

I see she is glued to this dancing on the ice tonight.                                                                                                                                              Thought for the day.

Find out the other person's needs rather than assuming you know them. The easiest way is to ask. Then identify your own needs. If you always give up on your own needs for the sake of others, you undervalue yourself.

Today I will put another person's needs before my own

Conflict arises when your needs are different to another's. Peace is possible when you accept that everyone's needs are important.

Give and take are both valuable. Be flexible and generous today.
