Wellington to Taupo

Leaving our house sit early this morning, with great directions to highway north. Turn left and left again and stay in the left lane they suggested. Perfect for the mistress and very little traffic to begin our journey.

BUT I am dying to tell you something. I'm sitting quietly and minding my own business, and of course reading my books as I have a lot of information to research, especially about today!

There was a very LOUD S..... word. She growled at me big time because I wasn't paying attention to looking out for the red/blue lights............🚔🚓 there was a cop on her tail.....yep, the mistress got a ticket, but I must not tell you for how much. Thats just Gnome business. She even gave him our blog card details.!!!!! What next? 😂😂😎👮👮👮👮👮👮👮👮 He showed great interest filing in his trousers so he can give to his other half. He said she would be very interested in this. The mistress was too. Ho hum she says.

So now every time she goes over the speed of the time, I dig her in the ribs. The mistress says I am meant to tell her when I see one, but he was in an unmarked car. How could I possibly know it was a cop. So, tell me how I am going to read and look out for these funny blokes in uniform and figure out if it's a mufti cop car.

That mistress is turning me into a nervous wreck, and her bank account a bit bleak. That ticket is worth more than a couple of bottles of bubbly too, but I'm not saying anymore, or she could leave me on the side of the road. 

We are off to Hamilton tomorrow afternoon and staying with her son. The tall fella I met over Xmas. Now his lovely lady has horses and cats. There is even wildlife flying around and wait until you see his car.....! I hope i get a ride in it.

Now tomorrow, she's just told me there may not be a blog, gosh are we going to JAIL.
